Caddis & Sedges are a huge category of artificial flies without which it is not possible to imagine dry fly fishing on the river and the lake. The success of these dry flies increases mainly with arrival a hot summer months when caddis hatches massively and fish consume them in a large quantity in the late afternoon and evening hours.

There is a wide range of colors in which caddis occur, but the most important colors are cinnamon brown, beige, black and gray. Caddis adults have been imitating for years with the use of various floating materials such as CDC feathers, winter deer hair fur, porous foam and non-absorbent types of synthetic materials and dubbings.
