Daddy Long Legs are a great species of Chironomids and occur mainly in warm summer months on still waters. With Daddies we can fish in all ways - dry fly from well-floating materials, wet fly under the surface, but there are also patterns with rubber legs and golden bead that are retrieved almost like nymphs or smaller streamers and are particularly successful on smaller trout still waters with big rainbow trout!

Once the warm summer evenings come and the fish begin eat a big Daddies from the water surface, you can also tie one of the imitates of these insects and you will be very surprised how fast the fish start to react positively on your fly!
